The taste of the oat milk was satisfying and great in coffee, although it comes with 130 calories/serving. It had a thick foam but it didn’t take long to dissipate in my macchiato. I’ve tried creamier plant-based milk, this one was OK. When I used it in my cold brew, I saw tiny specs which were only slightly unpleasing. There is 0 sugar, which most other barista-style milk can’t claim the same, so kudos on that.
I don’t see myself switching to Califia Oat Barista Blend. It’s more likely that I start using Ripple for my coffee.

Great foam with a very decent creamy pour. The taste was neutral, so it did not add to the taste of my coffee, which is great. I prefer my milks unsweetened, so I appreciated that the milk had no sugar. I did notice specks (not curdles or splitting) from this milk. Note that the milk does not contain any gum (whose job is to emulsify and prevent this from happening). This did not bother me.
The taste was great and now I know, there is a pretty good Oatly alternative out there. Although the color of the carton felt a bit like an Oatly copy, I like that it looks great in my refrigerator.
